Day 1:

Arrive in Tanzania.

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your guide for the drive to the Tulia hotel, and spa located in Arusha, one of the most influential cities in Tanzania. Strategically located at a base overlooking a remarkable view of Mt. Meru. Thus, representing one of Tanzania’s best views right at your doorstep. After settling into your room, take a walk around the garden or relax by the swimming pool.

Day 2:

Arusha - Tarangire National Park.

Your guide will meet you at the hotel, and give you the safari briefing for your safari, then drive to Tarangire National Park for some amazing game viewing. The game in this beautiful national park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devoted birder and even the most reluctant to appreciate them. It is home to up to 2500 elephants, which can be seen looking for under-groundwater in the dry riverbeds during the dry season, as well as migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and other incredible sightings like lions, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, baboons, and waterbucks.

The park scenery is also one to look after, a landscape dotted with huge baobab trees, and the meandering life-giving Tarangire River offers excellent game viewing during the dry season. (June-October) when the migratory wildebeest and zebras are around. Late in the evening leave the park and drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Have a relaxed breakfast at the lodge and depart to Serengeti with a nice packed picnic lunch to go with,
Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed as one of the seven wonders of Africa, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some 1: 5 million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 300,000 zebras and 500,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants, giraffes, eland, topi, kongoni, and impala.

Within the two days, we are going to explore the plains, water holes, kopjes, and Rivers for the spectacular great migration during the months of May-July. This is the best time of the year to see predators prey interaction, and the eastern plains of Namiri plains and the Gol-kopjes offer excellent cheetah and lion sightings.

Day 4:

Full Day Exploring the Serengeti National Park

This entire day is set aside for game drives upon the Serengeti. The Serengeti, the habitat of an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, and hippo, is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, and wildebeest. The animals’ game viewing is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. From (November to December) the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south.

During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the central. Apart from the migrating herds, we may have the opportunity to see the resident predators, leopard, cheetah, and lion, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

After an unforgettable day, we will return to our carefully selected lodge for relaxation, dinner, and our overnight sleep on The Endless Plain.

Day 5:

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active, and also to have a fantastic sun rise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. You will then travel to Ngorongoro Crater, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.

After a full day, you will return to a lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6:

Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast leaves the lodge and proceeds to Lake Manyara National Park for a day of game viewing an area Hemingway described as, “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”.
Lake Manyara National Park is a naturalist’s delight thanks to its diverse environments. Ranging from the underground-water forest and acacia woodlands to grasslands, swamps, marshes, and hot springs, the park is simply packed with wildlife. Over 400 species of bird have been recorded including large flocks of flamingos and migratory water birds.

Manyara’s forests ring with the call of monkeys and birds while its acacia woodlands are home to Manyara’s infamous tree-climbing lions and slow-strolling elephants. The park is also home to the largest troops of baboons in Africa, zebra wildebeest, giraffe, hippos, leopard, and impala, and in the late afternoon drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your accommodation or at the airport.
