Day 1:

Arusha to Tarangire national park

You leave Arusha after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape drifts past as your guide heads for Tarangire National Park, the least visited reserve on the itinerary but one capable of delivering fantastic game viewing. Home to Tanzania’s biggest elephant population, Tarangire supports large numbers of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and many antelope species, most evident during the dry season when concentrations of animals at the life-giving Tarangire River are at their peak. You stop at a picnic site and enjoy your lunch with breath-taking views of the park’s landscape and the river below you, and maybe in the company of elephants drinking and digging water from the sand River banks, after lunch proceeds with game viewing and the late afternoon leave the park and, drive to your lodge Fam of Dreams for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:

Ngorongoro Highlands to Ndutu (Short Grass Plains)

Two days exploring short grass plains
You leave Farm of dream lodge after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape drifts past as your guide heads to the Ndutu region, the least visited area during the months of (May-October), but one capable of delivering fantastic game viewing. Home to Tanzania’s biggest calving arena, when the mother wildebeest come to drop their babies in the month of the end of January-February. Home to the great migration from the months of December-March, if you are here during this month, you are sure to see the migration, but even when the migration is not around it offers one of the best big cats sighting lion, cheetah, and leopard and if lucky the rare wild dogs. Tanzania only places where off-road driving is allowed, other residence sightings include giraffe, hippos, hyena, elephant, and bat-eared foxes.

Day 3:

Full day exploring the Ndutu Area

After our hearty breakfast, we head out to enjoy a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region. We endeavor to explore the range of different habitats found here that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes, and the world-famous Serengeti short grass plains. We will see the awesome sight of the great thronging herds of wildebeest and zebra. During a short time, a frame around January, normally lasting for about 3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calves, dropping in the region of half a million young in this awesome act of synchronized birthing. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 30 minutes, they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.
As our full day of adventure upon the ‘Endless Plain,’ we depart to our accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:

Ndutu Area to Serengeti National Park

Full days game drive in Serengeti National Park with packed lunch till late evening. Then drive back to your camp for dinner and overnight. Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Maasai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. As the lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals stalk them. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage tented camp. Set in the heart of the Seronera valley.

Day 5:

Full day Exploring the Serengeti.

This entire day is set aside for game drives upon the eastern Serengeti. The Serengeti, the habitat of an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. From (November to December), the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season from (April to May), they return to the central. Apart from the migrating herds, we may have the opportunity to see the resident predators, leopard, cheetah, and lion, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.
After an extensive game drive, we head for our tented lodge for a hearty dinner and another night by the fire of relaxation and conversation under the sweeping majesty of the star-bright African night out upon the ‘Endless Plain’.

Day 6:

Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater to Karatu

Today you set off toward the Ngorongoro Crater for your last game drive. It shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big Five. The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and also the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In the late afternoon, you drive to Farm of Dreams lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7:

Karatu to Arusha

Leave the lodge after breakfast, and head to the multi-cultural town of Mto wa mbu where you will meet your local guide who will take you to visit a banana plantation, local beer factory, and rice field, and then followed by a local lunch prepared by local women from the area. This small town represents all 120 tribes found in Tanzania, and these are supported by the many activities going around like farming, fishing, cattle grazing, carving, trade, and local brewing taking place in the area. After you will leave the town behind, and drive back to Arusha or connect to the airport for your own ward connection.
