Beginning with an easy night at a Spa hotel outside Arusha, the first part of the tour combines Tanzania’s must-see Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park, giving you the chance to tick off the Big 5 along with massed herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra. Your Ngorongoro accommodation lies close to the crater rim itself, allowing for spectacular views, while your Serengeti lodge is a mobile affair that sets up in different locations in the path of the Wildebeest Migration to guarantee you front-row seats to the action.

Day 1:
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Welcome to Tanzania.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your guide for the drive to the Tulia Hotel & Spa located in Arusha, one of the most influential cities in Tanzania. Strategically located at a base overlooking a remarkable view of Mt. Meru. Thus, representing one of Tanzania’s best views right at your doorstep. After settling into your room, take a walk around the garden or relax by the swimming pool.

Day 2:
Arusha - Tarangire National Park.
“Elephants paradise”
You leave Tulia hotel & spa after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape drifts past as your guide heads for Tarangire National Park, the least visited reserve on the itinerary but one capable of delivering fantastic game viewing. Home to Tanzania’s biggest elephant population, Tarangire supports large numbers of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and many antelope species, most evident during the dry season when concentrations of animals at the life-giving Tarangire River are at their peak (June-October).
Your accommodation Angata Tarangire tented camp lies on the edge of Tarangire hills giving magical views of the life-giving Tarangire River. Explore the park’s rich habitats from the life-giving River, a landscape dotted with baobab trees, swamps, and open plains.

Day 3:
Full Day Tarangire National Park
This day will be spent entirely on game viewing through the park exploring the park’s vast habitats and landscape up to the Silalei swamp which during the dry season offers green pasture and water for the grazers and the predators follow them here. During the months of (June to November), when we have the seasonal migration of wildebeest and zebras the park bust into life with possibly the biggest concentration of wildlife outside Serengeti national park and the largest population of elephants per square kilometer in the world. Other sightings will include lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and buffaloes and if you are lucky the rare wild dogs are found here. In the late afternoon stop for your bush sundowner drinks which will be made by your guide.

Day 4:
Tarangire national park to Karatu.
After breakfast, you will drive to Mtowambu town on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, for a guided village tour. In this small but very busy town where people belonging to all 120 tribes in Tanzania are represented and live together in harmony, you will have the opportunity to see the typical daily life of Tanzanians. Your walking guide who comes from that area will take you to rice and banana plantations where you will interact with the people working on their farms, you will visit a traditional beer bar/factory, will visit a carvings factory where the famous “Makonde” use ebony black wood to carve different statues.
After you will proceed to Gibbs farm on the edge of the Ngorongoro conservation for lunch, after taking a nice walk to the farm and, seeing the coffee plantation and vegetable garden, return to the lodge and have a cup of coffee then proceed to your accommodation Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Day 5:
Karatu to Serengeti national park (central)
“Home to the world’s last remaining large mammals”
You leave the Eileen’s Trees inn after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely and depart this morning for game viewing in the central part of the Serengeti. This part is famous for the great sighting of lions, cheetahs, and leopards that are usually seen hanging on acacia tree branches. Game viewing in the central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like serval, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, jackals, hyenas, hyrax, and birds.

Day 6 - 7:
Serengeti National (Central)—Serengeti National Park (Northern)
“Two days exploring the northern Serengeti”
Your day begins with a morning game drive in the central Serengeti exploring the area’s high density of big cats, after you slowly start heading to the northern Serengeti through the Lobo area, the area is a high game viewing area for elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetah, and leopard. From here the tail of the great wildebeest migration can be seen. And with two full days here, you have plenty of time to take it all in. The area is home to abundant resident wildlife and its many predators – lion, cheetah, leopard, and crocodile – as well as excellent birdlife. The river crossing is the grand finale while the sight of hundreds, thousands of wildebeest and zebras thundering across the plains is spectacular, the Mara River crossing is absolutely one of the most breathtaking natural actions in wildlife sightings.
Dust exploding, lions stalking a moveable feast, gigantic crocodiles, and fast-flowing wild rivers await. It is sensational, impressive, and dramatic at the same time. This is one of the obstacles to the great migration.

Day 8:
Serengeti National Park—Ngorongoro conservation area.
You leave the camp after breakfast with a picnic lunch and proceed with your game drive along with the Lobo mbuzi mawe, and the central Serengeti for more game viewing. today you will be looking for lions, cheetah leopards, elephants, and giraffes, stop for lunch at the picnic site, and then continue to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge

Day 9:
Day 9: Ngorongoro crater—Kilimanjaro international airport.
Leave the camp at around 6:00 AM and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. Grass steppes, acacia forests, alkaline lakes, rivers, streams, and swamps are home to almost all the species of animals found in the East African savannah. The crater is home to Africa’s big five lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes. The alkaline Like offers excellent sightings of flamingoes from June to August and on the shows, you might see jackals and hyenas lazily lying on the edge of the lake. Other residences of the Ngorongoro are hippos, zebra, wildebeest gazelle, and birds with the grey crowned cranes, ostrich, and kori bustard catching the eyes, of both birds and non-birders. After extensive game viewing and a picnic in the crater, you will leave the Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon and drive to Kilimanjaro international airport and connect your flight back home.
