After a relaxed breakfast at Arusha Villa, you leave for Tarangire national park for two days of game viewing, the park landscape is dotted with huge baobab trees some believed to be over 700 years, and however, during the dry season, the elephants debark the trees to get some moisture out of them. Tarangire is at its peak during the months of (June-October), this is when the seasonal migration of wildebeest, zebra, and elands are on the peak and the life-giving Tarangire River calls them since all the water pools outside the park are all dry. Game viewing during these months is amazing, especially for lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The park is also home to the biggest elephant population with the number estimated to be 2500, other animals include giraffes, impala, baboons, buffalo, and antelope species including the fringe-eared Oryx and lesser kudu.
