Description

Day 1 - Arusha national park (Walking safari)

After breakfast, you will drive to Arusha national park, this day will be spend here enjoying this beautiful park. A nature walk around the park escorted by armed park ranger a long Africa big game is highly recommended for nature lovers. The path through the forest that provides enough shade that you can do the walk even in the hottest time of the day. On a nice clear day hikers can enjoy the views of Mount Meru as well as Mount Kilimanjaro. This hike can take up to 2hrs. You will then enjoy your picnic lunch at the Momella lakes with great views of the lakes and big animals around, which will be followed by game drive around the park, looking for the residence animals like buffaloes, zebra, giraffes, elephants, colobus monkeys, baboons, blue monkeys and amazing number of forest birds.

Day 2 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

Pick up from Maasai land hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park. Your first experience of safari will be the thrilling game drive through the vastness of Tarangire National Park, the park has great landscape and scenery dotted with huge magnificent baobab trees which offers water from the bark for elephants during the dry season and some of them believed to be over 700 years. The Tarangire River is the center piece of game drive as is the only source of water in the park and all animals come down to drink here. The sightings of the day can be elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, leopard, lions, zebras and wildebeest.

Day 3 - Full day Tarangire national park.

This day will be spend entirely on game viewing through the park exploring the parks vast habitats and landscape up to the Silalei swamp where during the dry season offers green pasture and water for the grazers and the predators follow them here. During the months of June to November when we have the seasonal migration of wildebeest and zebras the park bust into live with possible the biggest concentration of wildlife outside Serengeti national park and the largest population of elephants per square kilometers in the world. Other sightings will include lions, cheetah, leopard, giraffes, and buffaloes and if you are lucky the rare wild dogs are found here. In the late afternoon stop four your bush sundowner drinks which will be made by your guide.

Day 4 - Tarangire national park – Lake Manyara area.

After breakfast embark on game drive on your way out of the park enjoying bird’s song and other animals and birds sighting after proceed to a small village of mto WA mbu where you are going to do village walk. Tanzania has over 120 native tribes and all of these are presented here, your local guide will take your through the rice field, banana plantation, local makonde carving factory and local beer brewing factory and if time permits a local primary school. These will give you the insight of the local people life, belief, economy and their social life. You will have a local lunch under the banana plantation prepare by a women group and after proceed to the camp for leisure and enjoy your time at the pool side.

Day 5 - Lake Manyara National Park Full Day.

Following breakfast transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. There is a profusion of wildlife in this small national park, and the amazing bird watching experience will certainly be rewarding to both a devote and first-time bird watcher. It is as well among the few places on the African continent to see the tree-climbing lions that will be your main quest for the day. Manyara in addition prides in a large flock of beautiful pink flamingoes found near the lake, other sightings include hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebra, leopard and buffaloes in the afternoon drive back to the camp.

Day 6 - Manyara area — Serengeti national park.

Today after breakfast, depart to Serengeti national park for afternoon game drive start around the Simba kopjes and the Soronera valley looking for big cat’s probably in hunting of prey, expect to see Impalas, lions, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, elephants and many more wildlife later drive to the camp. The open plains offers Serengeti offers one of the best sun set and sun rise so keep you dreaming.

Lake-Manyara

Day 7 - Full Day Serengeti national park.

Today will be the “Serengeti game viewing day”. After early breakfast this morning, depart the Camp at 06:30 am, ready for full day game drive, enjoy an amazing game drive. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is evident here—look for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephant, giraffe, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, and lions. If you are there during the spectacular wildebeest migration, you will be more than astonished. In the late afternoon we venture out in another game drive. Everywhere there are animals, monkeys and, yes, birds…but look closely and you will be thrilled to see the huge jungle cats— lion, leopard and cheetah—watching the world go by. And go by it does. Giraffes, gazelle, antelope and massive elephants by the hundreds. Animals in the trees, flying, camouflaged in the bush, in rivers and in streams. This is the adventure of a lifetime!

Nothing is quite so essentially ‘Safari’ as the traditional ‘bush sundowner,’ especially when it’s enlivened by the presence of your guide.

MIKUMI-NATIONAL-PARK 2

Day 8 - Serengeti National park – Ngorongoro conservation area

Today you will start with a walking safari in the heart of Serengeti national park, the walking safari is another way of exploring these pristine wild areas on foot escorted by armed park ranger, we will be looking for small things which we always miss while in the car like animal tracks, animal droppings, look for medicinal plants and a way of doing some exercise. After head to the camp for brunch and then proceed with a short morning drive in the outer part of central Serengeti trying to look for more cats and hunting predators before crossing to the Ngorongoro and visit a Maasai village to enjoy the leaving culture since most of the other cultures are dead or dying.

Day 9 - Ngorongoro Crater tour – Arusha.

Explore the crater floor.

Leave your lodge very early in the morning, and drive through the Ngorongoro conservation before descending, 610 meters down to the grasslands of the crater floor, an area of about 265 square kilometers. Despite its small size, the Crater is Big 5 country and the openness of the terrain means easy and rewarding game viewing. You will spend the day exploring the crater floor, stopping to picnic on the grasslands amidst the grazing herds.

 Formed by a massive volcanic eruption, the world’s largest intact and un-flooded caldera provides a year-round home to an astonishing 25,000 large mammals including black rhino, wildebeest, and zebra along with Africa’s densest concentrations of hyena. The Crater’s forests shelter elephant and buffalo, its wetlands are home to hippos and flamingos while lions, jackals, leopards, and caracals make up the full range of predators. Late afternoon leave the crater behind and drive back to Arusha and you will be dropped at your accommodation, Kilimanjaro international airport or Arusha Airport
