Day by Day.

Day 1-2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

You leave your accommodation after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away, The Rift Valley landscape comes into view as your guide heads for Lake Manyara National Park, the smallest visited park on the itinerary but one capable of delivering fantastic game viewing. Home to Tanzania’s famous tree climbing lion’s, Manyara supports large numbers of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, hippos, baboons and many antelope species. The Lake is the centered piece of attraction when millions of pink flamingoes feed on algae and other planktons in the Lake. In the late evening leave the park and drive to Your accommodation Neptune lodge- which lies in 50 acres of virgin Tanzanian bush in the Ngorongoro volcanic landscape in Karatu, this all suites wood log cabin style retreat is located near Ngorongoro Loduare Gate, less than 5 minutes’ drive from the entrance to the Conservation Area. The next day you sit back on a full day drive in the crater itself, on the lookout for Ngorongoro’s famous Big 5 as well as other animals ranging from hippos to hyenas. Back at camp you gather around a blazing log fire to ward off the highland chill and exchange safari stories as a delicious supper is prepared, served most usually in the main dining area

Day 3-4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

“Two nights exploring the central Serengeti”

 Leaving the Ngorongoro highlands behind travel to central Seronera with a nice packed lunch sustain your way as you go a day long through the Ngorongoro conservation and into the open plains of Serengeti dotted with mammoth giant granite kopjes which set as watching area for the lions and breeding site as well, known as one of the most reliable game-viewing areas in the Serengeti throughout the year even when the great migration is not around, lion, leopard, and cheetah sighting are amazing. Comprising just twelve spacious tents, there is nothing better than being lulled to sleep at night by the sounds of the bush, safely inside your well-appointed ‘safari bedroom’, the tents are en suite with flushing toilets and a bush-shower. A private verandah offers a shady place to relax.

Go on daily game drives with your well-trained guide, and on the last day embark on a walking safari. Tread across the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park, accompanied by your field guide and an armed park ranger, with great knowledge of area and wildlife, it is the perfect setting to appreciate nature. The slow pace of the walk combined with the interpretative skills of the guides will open your eyes to a new and fascinating world. Day 5: Fly Serengeti— Nyerere National Park (Formally Selous Game Reserve)

“Three days exploring the land of the mighty Rufiji River”

After a relaxed breakfast at Serengeti wilderness camp, you will be driven to the airstrip for your morning flight to Nyerere national park (Formally Selous Game Reserve), a flight of approximately two and half hours.  Your guide will meet at the airstrip, after a short briefing, you embark on a game-drive through this very different park, arriving at the camp for lunch. Settle in, and enjoy views overlooking the baobab forest and a refreshing swim in the infinity pool, before going on an afternoon boat safari, exploring the mighty Rufiji River looking for elephants, hippos, and crocodiles.

Your accommodation- Africa safari selous- is tucked safely close to the main entrance to the Selous Park, and the Rufiji River is within walking distance. Offers attentive, yet unpretentious personalized service, exquisite dining, swimming pool, fantastic tents and bungalow.

Day 6- 7 Full Day In Selous Game Reserve

“Two days exploring the land of the mighty Rufiji River”

Nyerere national park formerly (Selous game reserve) world’s largest wildlife reserve and is Tanzania’s best-kept Big 5 secret. The Selous offers a wide range of habitats to explore from grassland savannah to floodplains, and miombo woodland and is home to a multitude of plains game, large elephant herds, lion prides and African wild dogs.

At Nyerere national park, you have the unique opportunity of leaving your vehicle – perhaps to approach a placid elephant herd undetected or to simply discover what is around the next river bend on foot. In addition to game drives and guided nature walks, you can experience boat trips and picnics on one of the many scenic sand banks and excellent birding. On both three nights overnight at Africa safari camp selous.

Day 8: Fly Selous Game Reserve – Dar Es Salaam

You’ll have a final breakfast at Africa safari camp before a drive to the airstrip for your late-morning flight to Dar es Salaam. The flight will likely stop a couple of times on the way to drop off/pick up passengers, and the total journey will be approximately 2 hours. You will land at the domestic terminal and the airline will help you transfer the short distance to the international terminal, where you can check in for your international flight home.
