Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport.

Welcome to Tanzania, meet your guide for the drive to planet lodge. Nestled in the heart of Arusha, Planet Lodge will captivate you with the natural beauty of the Tanzanian landscape. Day 2-3: Arusha –Manyara-Ngorongoro highlands
Two days Ngorongoro highlands
You leave the Planet lodge after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape drifts past as your guide heads for Lake Manyara National Park, the day will be spent entirely on game viewing through the park exploring the parks vast habitats and landscape from the underground-water forest, marsh, swamps, acacia woodland, and the alkaline lake. Lake Manyara is known for the famous tree-climbing lions and is also home to elephants, giraffes, buffalo, baboons, and more than 400 species of birds recorded, and the ever-present lesser flamingoes. Stop for your picnic and in the afternoon leave Lake Manyara behind and head to your accommodation Bougainvillea safari lodge.
The following day you leave the lodge and drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and down into the Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the crater for a day of game viewing from the plains where you might see zebra, wildebeest, and buffalo grazing and from far lions lazily lying on the grasses with their natural enemies’ hyena on the prowl. The forest is home to elephants while the mash and water bodies are dominated by hippos. The crater is also home to jackals, warthog, antelopes and the elegant beautiful grey crowned cranes, however, above all is the ever-present endangered black rhino which can be seen grazing from a far distance, or if you are lucky you might see them crossing the road. After an extensive day of game viewing and picnicking leave the crater behind and head to the lodge.

Day 4-6: Ngorongoro highlands-Serengeti national park (western corridor)
Three days exploring the western Serengeti
Leave the lodge after a relaxed breakfast at the lodge and head to the Serengeti national park for game viewing, known to many as the endless plains, spend two days exploring the central and western reaches of the Serengeti on safari, tracking the great array of game and wildlife that this vast area offers. If you’re here at the right time between the months of May-June you might see the great migration (depending on the season), this is the region where the herds are at their most concentrated as they seek to cross the Grumet River to reach the open grasslands beyond, and it’s where if you’re lucky you’ll see iconic 18-20 feet crocodiles hunting. It’s also an area of untamed natural beauty, of rolling hills, rivers, forests, and open plains. The western is also home to lions, cheetah, hippo, elephant, topi, and colobus monkeys. For those who are looking to avoid crowds during game drives and around animal sighting the western Serengeti will generally off you that, and your accommodation Mbalagate camp-lies in the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park, on the Mwamveni hill with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Serengeti plains and the Mbalageti River. From here you will be able to explore the western reaches of the Serengeti and an optional day excursion to Lake Victoria.

Day 7-9: Serengeti National Park—Tropical Island of Zanzibar.
Three days relaxing on the tropical beaches.
A scheduled charter flight takes you from the Serengeti savannah and into the island of Zanzibar. There may be a few stops on the way at another airstrip, but before long, you can let your bags hit the floor of your air-conditioned suite and stretch your legs on a powder-soft beach. Set on the island’s idyllic North-coast, royal Zanzibar beach resort blends privacy. The resort offers scuba diving and snorkeling trips to (Mnemba atoll) as well as pampering massages, beauty treatments, yoga sessions, and a gym. Sunset dhow (traditional sailboat) cruises and fishing trips are available to book at the resort, while the hotel’s Spice Garden is the ideal spot for a stroll.
